Saint-Tropez is famous for its trendy beach clubs such as Club 55 and Nikki Beach. There’s no real equivalent in the Monaco area because, let’s face it, you don’t have 4.5km of sandy beach with crystal-clear water. Also, several beach clubs in the area are now permanently closed due to a decision by the local authorities.
Finding the best beach club in Monaco area is not easy but there are exceptions.
Things to know
- Most beach clubs have a tender service to collect guests from their yacht. Bring some cash.
- Reservations are compulsory in high season (mid-July to mid-August)
- Book well in advance.
- Follow the guidelines and dress code when visiting: casual chic dress style is required.
Best beach club in Monaco area: Anjuna, good vibrations
Nestled in the bay of Eze bord de Mer, the restaurant invites you to relax in a warm exotic setting brought from the islands of the Indian Ocean. Indonesian statues and tropical plants inhabit the beach, surrounded by turquoise chairs.
South facing pebble beach with sun loungers, boat service and live music, friendly and professional staff, great food.
Our take: the food at Anjuna is decent, paired with its striking surf decor, excellent sea view, and quick, courteous service, creating a well-rounded dining experience.
